Humidification - High Pressure - Fog System Print E-mail
Fog systems:

The management of the different environmental factors that interact in a greenhouse and that often determine a successful crop, is one of the specialties that Novedades Agrícolas S.A. is able to make real with the best results, offering its clients contrasted experience and optimum solutions.

In summer the crops are subjected to adverse atmospheric phenomena, such as high temperatures, a high solar radiation index, dry winds, etc. These weather conditions mean that excessively high temperatures are reached inside the greenhouse and that a high deficit is present in the degree of humidity in the air.

To prevent the crops from deteriorating because of these factors, Novedades Agrícolas can provide fogging and misting systems that correct these extreme weather conditions, so that the plants and the auxiliary fauna employed in biological control, have optimum survival conditions.

Our technical department is able to offer you the best fogging and misting systems according to the needs of each particular project, with the attainment of the best results regarding cooling, humidification and spraying of phytosanitary agents in greenhouses, nurseries, air conditioning of rooms and chambers with controlled atmospheres. High-pressure misting systems.

The high pressure fogging systems

The high-pressure fogging systems are systems designed to increase humidity and achieve cooling in greenhouses and spaces where it is necessary to obtain the maximum range and the best features from the fogging systems, and also to offer the quality of a “dry” fogging.

These systems are recommended for obtaining atmospheres with a high relative humidity in nurseries, germination chambers, grafting rooms, farms, premises with controlled atmospheres, and in air conditioning processes where the cooling of the air is necessary by means of evaporative conditioning with the best possible performance.

A high pressure fogging unit consists of:
  • Physical and chemical pre-treatment for the feed water: It is an essential condition to have very good quality water, for which reason each case is studied and the means necessary to obtain it are incorporated as part of the assembly (low speed filtration, nanofiltration, osmosis, etc.).
  • Pressurization unit: high-pressure electric pump of sufficient size to obtain the flow and pressure that the fogging mouthpiece assembly requires.
  • Distribution networks and total cover sectorizing: pipes, valves and fittings, fastening materials, etc. necessary for uniform allocation, management of the fogging flows and high-pressure operation.
  • Misting mouthpieces: system that allows the application of low water flows at high pressure (50-80 bar) with drop sizes sufficiently small to favour their evaporation in the air producing “dry” vapour. An adequate distribution in number, as well as the appropriate positioning of each of the mouthpieces allows the best results to be obtained.
