Foggers, micro sprinklers and diffusers Print E-mail

Novedades Agrícolas S.A. constructs fogger, micro sprinkler and diffuser facilities for different types of farming and situations.

In general, they are all dedicated to distributing the water on a surface in the form of droplets. The drop size will determine the use of one type or another.

- Fogger: It produces a fine mist. It usually works with relatively high pressures (around 2-4 Atm). They are used in greenhouses to reduce the ambient temperature and increase the relative humidity.

- Diffuser: It is characterized by having a fixed deflector and a very reduced coverage diameter. There is a broad range of water ejection angles, with which you can create the desired distribution pattern. They are used to boost the relative humidity in greenhouses, mainly in corridors and in small landscaped areas.

- Micro sprinklers: They have a rotating deflector, termed the rotor or spinner, and they offer a higher coverage diameter, a smaller precipitation rate than the diffusers, a bigger drop size, and a better distribution of the water (particularly in distribution uniformity). For each type of micro sprinkler there are several types of rotors (spinners).

All the components are interchangeable, allowing the most appropriate design to be used in each case. The micro sprinklers are ideal for low volume irrigation in horticultural farming, fruit growing, flowers, greenhouses, nurseries, frost protection and watering gardens.
