Humifito® systems for fogging phytosanitary treatments:

Humifito® is a system for fogging liquids assisted by compressed air that has the advantages of the low pressure systems through being able to fog water and phytosanitary cultures without the blocking risk of the high-pressure systems, but with the quality of the latter in that it can offer a “dry” mist. The fogger consists of a special unit where the water is micronized by projecting an air blast at speeds near to that of sound.

The Humifito® units are systems designed to fog phytosanitary liquids in greenhouses with a total coverage of the area to be treated in an automatic mode, without the presence of operatives and with a very uniform distribution of the application obtained from the diffusion of the fog produced under conditions of saturated air. They can also be employed as a cooling system in greenhouses and other premises.

A Humifito® unit consists of:

Hydraulic equipment:                   

• Solenoid valve for automatic fogging with water or with phytosanitary liquid.                      
• Tank for preparation of the phytosanitary liquid and agitation system.                     
• Pressurization unit: electric pump of sufficient size to obtain the flow and pressure that the Humifito® fogging mouthpieces require.                      
• Filtration head: depending on the origin and the solids in suspension in the water and the orifice diameter of the fogging mouthpieces, this element offers the filtration intensity necessary for the foggers.                      
• Distribution networks and sectoring of total cover: pipes, valves and fittings, securing materials, etc. necessary for the facility.
• The fogging is done in the top part of the area to be treated, with the objective of covering the entire volume.

Pneumatic equipment:

• Screw compressor with filtration system and cooling plant - condensation of the compressed air.
• Distribution networks and sectoring:
• Humifito® fogging mouthpieces: foggers that allow the application of low water flows at atmospheric pressure, with the uniformity of a drip irrigation facility, assisted by compressed air (4-6 bar) with an excellent micronizing quality. A distribution adapted in number, as well as the position and the orientation of each of the mouthpieces allow the best results to be obtained.
